I’m a gamer, programmer, musician and university student based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. When not lurking in my lair, I can be found on Xbox Live and the Playstation Netowrk as Onomz, on Napalmriot.com as Onom, and on twitter as Onomnom.

Programming

When it comes to programming, I’m fluent in Visual Basic, C#, and PHP. Recently I’ve been honing my programming skills by joining DeVry’s programming club.

Web Development

I’m fluent in HTML and CSS, and at an intermediate level with JavaScript. I usually build the layouts for my web pages from the ground up using the code window in Dreamweaver, only ever using the design window for placing content. The templates are nice as well.

Video Games

I play a lot of Call of Duty and Halo, feel free to drop me a line if you see me. I don’t consider myself a pro gamer as my skill all boils down to hit or miss when I’m playing. I do, however consider myself to be part of the hardcore gaming crowd.

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since it’s release back in 2004, and remain an active player to this day. I mainly play for fun when I’m not busy doing school work or working on the projects I currently have running.

I’ve recent become a part of an upstart gaming community called Napalm Riot. There I do volunteer work adding and updating games and companies in the Games Vault.

Music

I’m also a musician of sorts, I started out as a violinist and played in the Moose Jaw Youth Orchestra for a few years be fore leaving, and continutes to play for about 5 years. I then moved onto the concert band at my elementary school where I started playing the trombone in grade 6. With the dawn of high school I joined the concert band and jazz band there. I played with them for about 5 years. I’m now out of high school and going into university and I still occasionally play my trombone and sometimes break out my old violin when I’m feeling really bored.
